Pastor Joel Christensen and his wife Angela came to Croswell, Michigan from Montana in early 2022. They have three daughters—Rachel, who is married to Levi and has three daughters of her own, Jessica, and Faith—and as they prepared for the move, the entire family felt led by the Lord to come as well. Pastor Joel trusted Christ as Savior at a young age after attending Vacation Bible School and later sensed God’s call to ministry as a young adult. He and Angela were married in 1995 and later attended Maranatha Baptist University, where he also completed his seminary training at Maranatha Baptist Seminary. He enjoys connecting with others over a good cup of coffee, and his passion for ministry is evident through his expositional preaching, his care for people, and his involvement in the Croswell community. 

Rachel and her husband Levi serve as the youth leaders at Community Baptist Church, where they have a heart for investing in the next generation. Along with their young daughter, they are actively involved in church life and enjoy building meaningful relationships with the teens. Rachel and Levi are passionate about helping young people grow in their faith, encouraging them to develop a personal walk with Christ and a love for God’s Word. Through youth activities, Bible teaching, and one-on-one connection, they seek to create an environment where students feel welcomed, supported, and challenged to live for the Lord.
